pigasus concept @ igor kossov.
micron on paper on texture overlap in photoshop.
inspired by igor kossov and dave mckean.
edit: whoa, holy crap. thank you! i should clarify one point quickly; igor kossov is the name of a close friend, and i was unaware it was the name of an artist. pigasus was a phrase he coined after a eurotrip and that phrase (and his subsequent adoption of it as a sort of internet persona/screenname thing [no anthro]) was what ended up inspiring this drawing. the dave mckean influence was actually a requirement--this started out as a class project where we had to draw stylistic and technical influence from another illustrator, which, i realise, sounds a little lame for a requirement, but one works within the boundaries set for one at the art institute of pittsburgh. again, thank you for the daily dev!

pigasus by ~boywhodraws clearly shows...a boy who draws. OK, that was obvious, as is the influence of Kossov and McKean (which the artists admits to). But the case here has its own character, and its whimsical without being trite. I dig that. So should you. (Featured by `zeruch)
